VTS Download Installation Instructions for Desktop Video Viewing

In order to use the overnight download method for viewing videos, you must first download the VTS Downloader. Follow the instructions below to install the VTS Downloader.

Note: If you used the Overnight Download feature prior to July 20, 2007, you will need to uninstall the old version before installing the new updated VTS version.

To delete the older version, go to "Start/ Control Panel/ Add/Remove Programs". Find the VTS downloader on the list. Select "Change/Remove" to delete the old version from your PC. You can then download the current version form the links on our page. We apologize for this inconvenience, but you will only need to install the new version once.

Once installed, the VTS Downloader must be running on your computer overnight in order to download the content. Please log in to the VTS Downloader using your e-mail address and employee ID.

Instructions for Use

Note: It is recommended that you create a new folder entitled “Desktop Video” on your Desktop to save the file. Click “Save” once you have determined where to save your file.

You now have the VTS Downloader on your system. You need only install this once but remember to keep the VTS Downloader running on your computer while you are attempting an overnight download. When the VTS Downloader is running, you will see the VTS icon in the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen.

• Your computer must remain on overnight
• Your computer must be connected to the Internet
• You must be logged into the VTS Downloader and have the software running in order to download. Log in to the VTS Downloader using your e-mail address and employee ID. You can minimize the program. When this is done, you will see the VTS icon in the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen.
• You must schedule a program for overnight download from the Desktop Video Library page.
